Ard Neackie is a small scenic peninsula on the east side of Loch Eriboll next to the North Coast 500 route, joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus with an interesting history of lime quarrying, lime kilns and as home to the pier for the former Heilam Ferry across Loch Eriboll to Portnancon.
