Over Kinlochewe to the Fannichs, Torridon & Fisherfield

Shot during an evening descent from the bealach between Ruad-stac Beag and Spidean Coire nan Clach, Beinn Eighe, in the midst of a lunar like landscape. The northern corries and slopes of Beinn Eighe are rougher than most but their rock scenary and quiet solitude are spectacular and beautiful. North of the Kinlochewe valley lies a huge tract of wild land including the Fisherfield and Fannich areas. This view is in an easterly direction with the distant snow capped Fannich range occupying centre stage. Beinn a’ Mhuinidh, with prominent Torridonian sandstone terraces, is the fine wee hill on the left, it lies adjacent to the head of Loch Maree. Fionn Bheinn, the lone Munro above Achnasheen, is the conical looking peak on the right.
