Foinaven from Arkle

Foinaven wreathed in January snow, from the summit of Arkle. This was taken during a period of north westerly winds bringing blustery hail and snow showers to the Sutherland hills. This is probably the most snow I’ve experienced on these westerly Sutherland hills. Snow tends to come and go quickly in the Atlantic dominated climate, but on this day I managed to ski Arkle.
