The Haven natural harbour on the remote, abandoned island of Swona, surrounded by the fierce tidal races of the Pentland Firth. Apparently boats were once built on the island and the one pictured is the Hood, last to be built there. The last residents of the island left in 1974 leaving now ruined houses and a herd of cattle that has turned feral. The island is a beautiful place but with the abandonment has a melancholy feel.
