A long exposure view along the Caithness coast of the Pentland Firth. Taken from St John’s Point towards Dunnet Head. The light of Dunnet Head Lighthouse is just visible against the sunset at the far right of Dunnet Head. St John’s Point is near the village of Mey (home to the late Queen Mother’s Castle of Mey) and is a promontory into the Pentland Firth offering fine views. It is a very short detour of the main North Coast 500 scenic route.
