Stac Pollaidh, Cul Beag and Cul Mor reflected in the water of Loch Cul Dromannan on a winter morning
Loch Cul Dromannan is right next to the A837 Ullapool to Lochinver road on the North Coast 500 route and is a popular location for photographers given the stunning backdrop of the Assynt and Coigach peaks. Here, Stac Pollaidh is on the left, Cul Beag centre and Cul Mor away to the right. I’d been taking photographs from not long after first light when finally the sun rose behind in the south east to light the peaks with it’s warm glow. The sun took a while longer to reach the shores of the wee loch.
