South from the southern shoulder of Meall Coire Lochain, the south top of Munro Meall na Teanga. Beinn a’ Bheithir is 40 km distant on the left with Fort William at the head of Loch Linnhe and the loch stretching away southwards, the Ardgour hills to the right. The island of Lismore and beyond the coast of Mull around Craignure (73 km away) are visible through the light in the full resolution version of this image. Shot on a December afternoon where the crepuscular rays of the sun just kept streaming through the shifting clouds.
