The east faces of the Munro Bla Bheinn and lower but sharper Clach Glas catch the morning sun when it shines and morning is a lovely peaceful time here. The views across Loch Slapin from around the village of Torrin are wonderful. Bla Bheinn and formidably rock neighbour, Clach Glas, draw the eye upwards; but the waters of the loch, fringed by orangey brown seaweed, and the woods and white cottage nestled on the far side draw the eyes back down and set the dark rocks above off to good effect.
